Redd-ID is a blockchain-based naming service.
The service provides users the ability to create and own multiple user IDs (e.g. social, work or community).
Each created ID is verified on the blockchain and linked to a Reddcoin address.
The Redd-ID can be used for sending and receiving Reddcoin to common names (Address-book).
User Redd-IDs are public and searchable.
A Redd-ID can include as much or as little profile information as the owner sees necessary (contact details, avatars, etc).
User profile details can be made public or private.
Within each user profile is the ability to link multiple social network identities (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
Each social network identity can also have a separately assigned and individual Reddcoin address.
There is a cost for registering each Redd-ID.
The cost of registering is determined by a number of factors such as the length, mixture of characters, vowels, etc. (e.g. john.id > johnadam.id > john0001.id.)
Due to popularity, the cost of registering some short names (Joe, Tom, etc.) will be 6 figures or more (at current exchange rates).
Redd-IDs are verified in PoSV blocks, with active Reddcoin stakers supporting the registration service.
The majority of the registration fee paid for a Redd-ID goes to the wallet-holder who stakes and fully verifies the transaction.
A small percentage of the registration fee goes to the network (the Electrum server operator) to support infrastructure.
Redd-IDs may be transferred between users (creating a potential marketplace).
Redd-IDs will have an expiration date and require renewal (terms between 1 and 5 years with discounting).

When you hold for 6 months ~ 1 year
This is a solid long term hold coin.
If you want a quick buck, go to digibyte lmao
Do the ID's still cost $60 or whatever?

What the fuck is this. Now I regret buying RDD, hopefully it at least pumps a little bit so I can dump what I've got.

Should be much cheaper! The 6 digits should refer to the value at the time the reddeco was worth + -5sats
This is going to be brutal, I hope to be in the front row to register the ID with the name I want!

Hey dumbass, how else would you do it? For free? Everyone would make 20000 IDs and sell them to twitch streamers and would have a fuck ton of OG Redd ID selling posts.
Thank god you're not a dev and just a broke college boy.
Sell your bags and fuck off.

>cryptocurrency that will actually be used as currency albeit a micro scale
I have faith in redd but time will tell
It's hugely cheap this coin !!! I will not miss an opportunity, and I will buy some more !! The potential is unlimited!
When will it launch? What about marketing campaigns?
Why do you need ReddID when you can just register an ETH address
>>2503807
you don't get the concept of normie do you
>>2503866
No "normie" is paying money for a useless currency just to register a username, are you absolutely retarded? Most people already hate registering let alone paying money for some username. And how will they initially top up to register? They still have to go through initial crypto exchange process. Fuck thissssss coin, glad I saw this thread, staying the FUCK away from this inevitable failure.

Reddcoin!!!!!

If they can't support something as simple as an ID system on their own with their own crypto gains, they deserve to fail.
A one-time payment makes sense, but rental is retarded. Are you saying that if someone registers 'porn', paying $200 once versus $200 every few years is going to make any difference in terms of resellers? You're a fucking retard.
