On /z/ there was a dedicated group of anti-bee posters and we'd exclusively discuss things related to business, taxes, investments, etc as a kind of joke. These became /bi/z/ generals and faded with time, and didn't really have anything to do with the formation of /biz/ (at least not directly), but some of the spirit was still there. AMD stocks were a huge meme when they tripled (zOMG) under our savior's reign, Hector Rui/z/.
