How to securely HODL ETH? I aim to HODL for years.

Here is my initial idea:
>keep online wallet for liquidity
>keep savings on hardware
>remove keystore file from PC and keep on pendrive in 2-3 separate locations
>keep sending savings to the savings account on cold storage
>whenever the amount of savings reaches 1 ETH, generate new key and use it till it reaches another 1 ETH

This way I should have my ETH on 2-3 pendrives hidden in separate locations. Whenever I'll need to use my savings, I'll copy only one of the accounts that holds 1 ETH to the PC with the synced network. If I'll need more than 1 ETH, I'll copy as much accounts.
Anyway, all the other accounts and ETH will not be at risk.

What else would you add to this?
