Install a node, you leeches.
I bet the majority of people here do not have a node set up, which is exactly why bitcoin is becoming slow.
People are always talking about "going to a new faster coin", but the only reason its faster is because there are less people using it! The new coin would become just as slow the exact same way.
If people actually bothered to install a node, then bitcoin wouldn't be having this problem.
If we all install a node, we can help make bitcoin faster, which will make bitcoin go up in price again.

I just care about gainz. But eth.

hey what's my incentive for running a node again?
>>2481146
because if everyone does it the price will go up
>>2481155
but I don't hold bitcoin, and I'm running nodes for a coin that is far superior to bitcoin.
>inb4 when bitcoin moons whatever coin you have will moon too
I don't care, bitcoin is garbage and the coin I'm mainly into is far superior in every single way excluding user adoption.

by node you mean like bitcoin core right?
does it signal for the segwit and BIP things that will make transactions faster and cheaper?

What's the bandwith for a node? working on a rig--have a 1tb hd.
Would it affect mining?
reminder that if you're a faggot running a node on a raspberry pi that isn't doing any work (mining) you actually aren't helping at all and are actually a detriment.
tl;dr kys newfriends
