Goodnight bitcoin. Thank you for all the good times and good profits. I'm sorry these greedy ducks ruined your chances of aging gracefully. I know I will see you again soon, and I'll be there, wallet in hand, ready to embrace you again. But for now bitcoin, goodnight

Good morning bitcoin
>>
>>2479979

It's funny how some people think ETH would moon if BTC crashes, when the exact opposite would happen. ETH would crash along with BTC, as we have seen how correlated their prices are.

The only play that would make sense to hedge against a BTC crash would be to put it all into LTC.

My hedge against the 8/1 attack was putting everything in Bancor, cashing out on Monday, and retiring to Lamboland.

Bitcoin transaction fees are very high at the moment. It wasn't always this way.

A while ago, in the early days of bitcoin people wanted it to remain secure. There was a risk when early miners were starting off that someone could flood the network with zero cost transactions - a bit like a ddos attack.

They came up with a solution - limit the size of each block, which would mean miners

Fast forward to now and our blocks are full because they few people running bitcoin development

You need to google the following

Bitcoin.com white paper
Who is satoshi
What is segwit
What is lightning network
What are the risks of centralisation / segwit

Who are bitcoin core
Why did bitcoin core change the white paper on bitcoin.org
Who is Jihan Wu
What is bitcoin unlimited
Why are bitcoin core blocking bitcoin on chain scaling
Who is gavin Andersen
Who are Gregory maxwell and Luke dashr
Do bitcoin core have any patents on their technology
What is asic boost
What is user activated soft fork
When is USAF
Who is Barry silbert
What is segwit 2x
Why did r bitcoin ban users
(Read the r bitcoin threads and the r btc)

Will all alts crash massively if bitcoin crashes
Will bitcoin price moon after scaling issue is fixed
Are exchanges going to fail if volume changes massively because they are understaffed
What is mt gox
Will I have coins on both chains

If you are uncertain after all this, consider what profits you have taken out so far.

A good strategy when uncertain is to hold 50 pc coin 50 pc fiat.

Be very careful what you leave on exchanges 2 weeks before and after August 1st

And you know this how?
>>
>>2482716
This is the sentiment from most Chinese miners, apart from Bitmain, obviously.
