Market share is only relevant relative to the other coins that serve the same purpose as BTC in being a general currency with no special features. It doesnt matter if the market share is taken by stuff like ETH, because ETH doesnt serve the same function. In the pure cryptocurrency market, BTC is still enormously ahead of everything else.
