which exchange will give me the least grief/fees to deposit in from a uk bank account?
the big 4 banks here make it so difficult... i've been buying on localbitcoins and going through there but it's a bit of a chore. any help appreciated.

>Open EUR account with your bank
>Use transferwise to convert GBP to EUR (0.5% fee to convert at mid-market rate)
>SEPA to Kraken (£5 flat fee)
I saved about £600 on my last deposit doing it this way.
If anyone knows of a cheaper way I'm all ears...

Oh and don't tell the bank you're opening a EUR account to trade cryptos... just say its for holiday money or something

What about going through Fidor bank? Or are they still technically UK?

fidor is bitcoin friendly. you can only send from them though. no sepa withdrawls to fidor.

Hmm, I guess you could transfer from my regular account to Fidor then the exchange.
The problem problem is when you want to cash out.

Hmm really, I've not cashed out yet - what sort of problems have you ran into?

Having to send your coins from the exchange to is an annoyance if/when you're in a hurry. Plus you're restricted if you want to cash out other coins.
