So now that the shitcoin hype train has crashed, let us talk about reamoney and real investments. How has the fed rate hike affected your investments and where do you see things going from here?
It will tougher for loans and such, but my money market account might actually start making some money.

My real stocks mostly shit themselves, which is okay because I know they'll recover. I found one outstanding bargain of a company, put 20% of my portfolio a year ago and now I get a damn tender offer letter telling me to sell my shares because they're going private.
I'm happy to see interest rates increase. Hopefully this means bonds will be worth investing in the future so money will shift from stocks and into bonds, which means I can buy cheaper stocks.
Stocks are kinda stupid right now. I will probably liquidate my index fund because the stock market realistically has nowhere to go but down, it'll only take a black swan or somesuch to trigger a mass sell-off. We need a robust bond market to balance the stock market.
I still have stocks, but in esoteric, boring companies. Small-cap utilities, some telecoms, Oil and Gas storage, some pharma. I may put some money into a REIT ETF or somesuch to balance that out, but I'm avoiding companies I think might shit themselves heavily during a market correction.
Also, I notice some corporate bonds are bizzarely good. Auto-zone selling 5-year bonds at 7+% interest rates and they are not a distressed company.

I lost nothing. It's nice to play with pure profit only :)
