How can cryptocurrency replace fiat if keeping your coins secure is very difficult for idiots and there are no chargebacks?
Why would you send emails? You can just write a letter or send a fax.
If it became a widely used currency it would be as much of an investment as forex is.

Same way gold and silver have been used as money for centuries. You put more thought in to your purchases and buy things that improve your life, rather than another smart phone thats 1% faster that you dont really need.

Conceivably you could have trusted intermediaries which handle your money for a predetermined period before sending it on to the destination.
Beyond that there's always the take-it-to-court fallback.
