This is where TA is just gambling, but here goes. IMO, if it doesn't form a peak at at least 2800 in the "near short term" (before either consolidating there, or may dropping a little to near 2500), and then making another attempt at 3000, then I'd start to consider btc to be in a downtrend. Who knows though, this market is a plaything for whales.
