What the fuck is going on with Bitcoin? I'm not talking about the price, nor the upcoming possibility of the US gov fucking with it. I'm talking about it's own internal political and technical issues.

Can someone explain the situation to me? If I read through the subreddit or random articles I see shit like:

Hard forks
Soft forks
Block sizes

What is all this shit and what's supposedly happening? And what SHOULD be happening?
