Is QRL a good mid term hold?
I mean, how far is quantum computing from us? Or from any millionaire or billionaire that plans on destroying BTC/other cryptos?
Are we sure that quantum computing is going to be able to fuck BTC's encryption?

Only problem with this technology is that it can't be 100% quantum secure without testing against a quantum attack, right?
Still considering dropping 1k in.

This. Also what got my thought is the idea that if BTC gets hacked and this coin is one of the few still alive or considered safe, how is it going to matter if it gets to up to 10btc/unit if 10btc is like 10 cents?

Whats stopping bitcoin from just forking to implement a quantum resistant algorithm?
>>2438877
Well, if that is your question mine is "When is Bitcoin going to fork to implement a quantum resistant algorithm?".
While I worked as the devil's advocate here, if that was the news it would crash QRL.

Nothing. As soon as it's broken due to a quantum attack, a hard fork will be done to take the funds back and implement the quantum secure cryptography. This coin is just a gimmick.
QRL isn't the future, it is however good as a proof of concept.
Assuming a fork, how will they know when the infiltration occurred and who really owns the accounts. Also, this would hurt the value without a doubt, regardless. Trust, the core of this tech would be violated right?

2 things
1) there are already protocols that are being designed to protect cryptos from all possibilities of any sort of quantum computing attacks
2) qubits > bits. So.... That means.... Quantum computers + blockchain = qu-bitcoins > god?????????
