HODL'ing suggests waiting a period of time.

As we speak a whitepaper framework is being formed, SegWit is nearing implementation, and a new algorithm (Lyra2m; heavily cpu based) is being tested and planning on being implemented shortly with a wallet/web wallet update shortly thereafter. Besides the fact that it's actual features have been formed but haven't been implemented yet.

If you knew any of these things, besides the sheer amount of things being developed and worked on by the talented and quickly growing Moon community, then you might have a better idea of where it's heading.
