Ambitious yes, but they are making progress.

As for use case. The true value of this coin is that it will allow film and game makers to render their content using a crowd sourced super computer.

Hollywood films currently spend millions on render farms. This would likely result in a much cheaper option even if the coins were to rise well over 50$ in value (I'm not saying that's possible).

This coin has insane real world use cases.

That being said, there are other coins trying to achieve the same thing. I don't have a preference, I'll invest in them all because the reward for whoever pulls it off will be immense. Golem is ahead of the pack as far as I'm aware

Unfortunately I work at the tech department at a mayjor Hollywood studio. As much as I like the tech of Golem and hold it myself, I can't see it being used by our industry.

It's the same as the bunnyrender. Nice concept but nobody will adapt it in a real production. Except for indie developers that fap on the fact alone that they're using "cool tech".

Nevertheless we're using Zync (Google Cloud) and AWS.
