> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

Hi

>CVM
the fact that it isn't down 50% at 4:00:01am this morning is good sign imo. One of the few reverse splits that is actually done to benefit the company by allowing more institutional investors to purchase shares. HOWEVER, them announcing this before good FDA/arb news is kinda cart before the horse. But also it may be a very good thing since now the big players can jump in before the (((((hopefully))))) good news.

biz was started as crypto coin containment board from /g/. We just let /rgt/ fly because coins were not taken too seriously at the time and not that much to shill

Now theres a bunch of alt coins that need as much advertisement as possible and are being featured on global news outlets. Your thread is literally like a speed bump on a driveway and needs to be bulldozed.

Its not even market hours, so wtf is the point of a stock thread now?
>>
>>2426170

Pre-market trading begins at 0430.

And you're still wrong. From the sticky:

>This board is for the discussion of topics related to business, economics, financial markets, securities, currencies (including cryptocurrencies), commodities, etc -- as well as topics relating to starting and running a business.

>Note: /biz/ is NOT a place for ADVERTISING or SOLICITING. Do NOT use it to promote your business, ventures, or anything you may have an interest in. Anything that looks remotely like advertising or soliciting will be removed.

You guys are just lucky there is no mod enforcement here.

If you follow bollinger bands, the 30 minute nasdaq chart b-bands seem to be having the biggest "influence". The nasdaq was trading well above the top b-band, it's now pulling back to be nearer the top b-band (b-bands measure where 95% of trading takes place). This doesn't yet mean tech stocks are going down.
>>
>>2425773
CVM holder here. The volume coming through is massive, but the price is crawling. People are selling, but someone is buying it right back up immediately. Very bullish. This is not for the weak of hands. The r/s is a step to legitimacy on part of the company. This is the way they will draw in big fish. I expect a huge increase in my investment before this is all over.

If I go into stocks, it's because I want something with less risk than crypto. If I wanted volatility I'd stick more in crypto.

What I trust are the index funds but I'm actually afraid of a 2008-esque dip. So I want to buy something that gradually goes up, but not at an all-time high.

>>
>>2427844
Well I've got about 10k in crypto, 10k in savings/money market, and 6k or so for "other investments", which will probably be stocks, options, and forex, as soon as I find a good entry point and feel like I'm knowledgeable enough to jump in I guess. If there's a solid entry point, though, I could just shove it somewhere safe, like an index fund, until I get around to doing enough research to actively choose stocks and learn enough about forex and all that to actually manage where I invest it. So I like seeing threads that "the markets are crashing! Happening!" because I might have a place to park my cash.

There seem to be a lot of people lurking here, and maybe someone "knows" something, so here goes: why are people buying tech stocks at what seem to be insane prices (Even though there seems to be some profit taking now)? If there's so much selling, and you're so eager to buy, why not let prices fall, or even correct, before buying like mad?

Guys you need to buy HUSA and soon. It's been on a steady 3 month incline, it's a no-debt company with several plots of land where they sell oil drilling rights for royalties. It's currently on a low due to oil prices, jump on now (high 0.60s to low 0.70s) and enjoys a damn good gain when it hits 0.8-0.9 or higher in a few weeks.

Do not miss this opportunity, screencap this and make fun of me later if you want but I'll be the one with moneybags
>>
>>2428629
NVIDIA makes mining rigs and hardware for mining which people use to mine various coins, especially Bitcoin. Bitcoin uses a proof of work algorithm as its protocol and so the mining rigs that NVIDIA makes do work and as a reward for that work they earn bitcoin. But pos, also called proof of stake, is another algorithm, one which does not require a mining rig at all. And ETH will be switching to this later this year.

But the point is that as less and less people are mining bitcoin/altcoins and more people start using proof of stake and other ways of "mining" that don't require NVIDIA's hardware, which is happening, NVIDIA's stock might go down.

that's what it means.
>>
Ok someone give me a scenario of CVM share holders actually benefitting from a reverse split. I've seen many done and they always wreck the share holders and keep the company alive from delisting.
>>
>>2428749

CVM shareholders who own 1 share of CVM will benefit from the reverse, everyone else will suffer. There.

>>
>>2425773
>>2427550
Normally I'd be ready to run on the news of a reverse split, but it kind of makes me wonder if they didn't intentionally screw up the FDA requests. I received the voting email back in early May, and they've been discussing a R/S since January.

The company is great, in the sense the product is onto something. IIRC they saw a 30%+ success rate in the second phase. They only need a 10% increase in the survival rate for the third and final phase. They also built a multimillionaire dollar manufacturing facility instead of outsourcing their product.

Worse case scenario I'm out a grand, but I bought in with the intention of holding long term.

Thing is, by all logic it should go up. I did research. They're established in Europe and now they're opening up the US market. That should be nice cash cash. Just a P+D in the last few days I guess, that was coincidentally timed with news of taking on the new market. I guess my argument won't make it go up, just saying it should be heading up. There's no reason this POS shouldn't triple.

You know theyve all moved to crypto, right?
>>

i think warrants also go through the r/s just like commons.
>>
its been months since I visited /rgt/. Nothing has really changed... The same relentless shilling of shitstocks like ceru, dcth or cvm. Its kind of nostalgic desu..
>>
>>2434437
all these cryptos are exactly like the hundreds of otc marijuana scam companies that got pumped in late 2013-early 2014. initially they all went sky high 1000-2000% gains for some of them. Then after they were all pumped people finally figured out that marijuana was a meme market and all of them dropped 90%-95% for 2 years until they finally got pumped again. the crypto shit thats being pumped now has even less uses then marijuana.

nothing wrong with making money off idiots as long as you're lucky enough to jump ship when the music stops. I'll cash out my eth at $400. I've made more money hodling garbage than 6 months trading stocks which have actual value
