BAY is bae
bitbay seems to not give a shit about the normal pump and dump waves of altcoins, weird af
>>2416017
This is why I spread the word of BAY, it's one of the comfiest long holds, backed by solid fully-functional tech and one of the best Autists in Crypto.

>>2416219
You act like you've never seen a crypto dev before. What did you expect?
shit that chart is beautiful
>>2415895
wait, so can I buy BAY now or no?
>>2416278
Yes it's on Bittrex
here's the chart btw if anyone is interested
So what's the difference with shapeshift and how is bitbay the first?
>>2416378
BitBay isn't really a coin exchange, although it can be utilized as such. It is an entire decentralized marketplace, and using double deposit escrow, it enables trustless transactions between two parties (using smart contracts). A more comparable competitor would be 'Syscoin' but they are cucks and Sebastian tells lies about us because they know their shit is weak compared to our solid tech, all they do is market.
>>2416378
isn't shapeshift for buying coins?
bitbay is like decentralized ebay
>>2416603
Precisely. You get it.
Would be nice if they revamped the website, it's kind of tacky
>>2416700
Check'd. Yeah if you join the Slack talk to Meta about that, he is in charge of the website and we're going to do a temporary revamp before the full revamp. We have quite a bit of funding available now given the price increase and all that jazz.
>>2416731
You should give us a heads up when you figure out a date for the website revamp, I think all you guys need is more marketing and this shit should skyrocket. Still holding SysCoin to hedge but I like Zimbeck, he's a good guy.
>>2416603
Ah, OK. Then how does that work with regard to physical item escrow? Is there human intervention in order to resolve conflicts?
>>2416731
That's definitely a neat concept, but is it actually formally sane?
>>2416772
i don't know but how did it work on silk road? i think it involves some layer of good old fashioned trust
>>2416772
The double deposit escrow, in layman's terms, is like the "Mexican Standoff" of transactions. When neither party benefits from a transaction not going through, there is no incentive to rip off a customer. In addition, if you cause a customer to lose money through dishonest/poor business practices, the reputation system will sort out "good" BAY users from the "bad" BAY users. If this sounds like a radical concept, the elimination of all human arbitration between transactions - that is because it is, and that is why I became part of the team. This has huge potential to save a lot of people a lot of money, and it isn't vapourware, it is available RIGHT NOW.
>>2416731
protip: don't make everyone white
>>2416835
what happens if you get send items but then claim you never got them so you never pay?
>>2416597
So are you planning on making it somehow easier to access, use and understand by normies?
Will you be targeting normies? How do you plan on promoting bitbay?
So should I just buy 1000 BAY right now and hold, or wait for them to drop in price? They're worth $.03 cents right now, so it's only like $30.
>>2416837
Lol! I will speak with the marketing department about that at the next meeting, my /biz/bro, please do not take it the wrong way.
>>2416812
I would not be shilling here today did i not have full confidence that Zimbeck is onto something with his BitBay software. We've made it this far on tech alone, let's see what the hypetrain and a couple more devs will do.
Pic Related - will this man code my Lambos?

Have you tried actually answering the question instead of spewing buzzword? That could help people actually care about bitbay.
>>2416884
I wasn't offended or anything that they were all white, I just figured it would help y'all from a public view standpoint lol
>>2416884
very handsome :)
Will 6,5k bitbay get me to lamboland?
Let's be honest here, why would bitbay work?
People love being baybsitted & knowing that their money will not be stolen or won't be scammed, using ebay gives them that assurance
>>2416888
My apologies, I am not trying to obfuscate anything. Please join the Slack for in-depth answers from the dev (dzimbeck) or the other team members (sirlosealot, funsponge, craig). While I am knowledgable about BitBay, I am merely a marketing guy, not a 10-year Blockchain veteran. Also, see the infographic for more information on double deposit escrow, it's not just word salad haha.
http://bitbay.market/wp-login.php?action=slack-invitation
>>2416875
Short term:
1.) Website revamp
2.) Active social media management (that's me!)
3.) Bounty list to allow for outside actors to participate in the development/promotion of BAY and the decentralized marketplace
4.) List Youtube tutorial series on Bitbay.market for ease-of-access to interested Users
In the long term we will focus on things such as:
- large improvements in the UI (She works, but she ain't sexy or intuitive yet. Prioritizing functionality over form until we're ready for the next stage, and plus we can probably outsource development of "easy" stuff like making cooler looking buttons lol )
- Active marketplace with more consumer products
- Web wallet
See the wall of features for more info: http://bitbay.market/walloffeatures/
>>2416865
You would lose your deposit, therefore you would not benefit financially from this course of action in any way, and would receive bad feedback on your profile. See the infographic for a more detailed explanation.
>>2416978
Pls answer. This is all i got now.
>>2417092
Not gonna lie, bitbay looks good with all the features & its actually working,
Why is the price still so low though?
>>2416959
It's not a site, it's a decentralized market client (pic related)
Advantages of using BAY over other platforms
- no need for an account
- no listing fees
- decentralized (open a private market and sell whatever you want, public market is moderated though at a minimum - solely to avoid David getting Ross Ulbright'd, buy your child porn somewhere else)
- No need to worry about currency exchange rates and all that jazz when conducting international business
In addition, smart contract templates will be completed that allow for a range of functions beyond merely buying and selling items. (pic related). The Cash-for-coins template is already available, and allows for trading any cryptocurrency for cash.
>>2416982
eBay's dispute resolution process is highly flawed. It is a big reason of why I was so excited when I found out about this project. Furthermore, this will not be space-alien technology for long, I see a very bright future for BitBay.
Seems to be a really good community behind this. Might drop some dosh in this for that alone.
>>2417210
cash for coins will probably keep it afloat, you will have to do a lot of marketing to turn it into the next Fiver, but I don't think it's impossible.
>>2416048
looks like a literal stoner. no thanks.
>>2416876
I think you need to get a second job and buy more crypto in general if that's all you have (not kidding, not just talking about BAY either, these are the boomtimes my man)
>>2417096
You may be able to purchase a used Lambo 5 years from now but i doubt you will be able to afford maintenance on it.
>>2417172
We have done virtually zero marketing. The website is old as FUCK (so old i'm not going to tell you how old it is), which is why I have been hounding Meta to update it, and we have been reaching out to web devs as of recent. This coin is literally 100% serious, and we have not been like Syscoin who have been pimping their "marketplace" out for a long time (well before it was even open or functional, SAD!)
The fact you can trade cash for crypto alone should bring it to a much higher market cap imo.
>>2417262
Thank you. Yes marketing is very important, I've recently been placed in a position to increase our social media presence and will be taking advantage of it, I assure you.
>>2417258
I unironically will tell you it is the best Slack i've been in in crypto. Friendly, helpful community, and no shitlords in it (yet). No moonkids either. I've been in a decent amount of Slacks, very few are as "business-oriented" as BAY. We're working to improve the platform and community every single day.

What's been preventing this from talk off? And how do I transfer to fiat from bay?
>>2417514

A lot of you are missing the point in the peg which will happen at Xmas. It will catipult bay to a marketcap of over $200m
It's going to be like 'Tether' which has a marketcap of $130m but alot better!!
Forget the marketplace aspect of it. Look st the potential of the rolling peg! It's Gona be HUGE!
>>2417584
Fuck it, more time to accumulate for us then
>>2417592
See >>2417279 3rd answer as to why there is not more awareness of BitBay in the crypto market. As for the cash-for-coins smart contract template, you will need to download the marketplace wallet client from bitbay.market and follow the necessary tutorials. If you need help, please join the Slack and someone will be available to walk you through the process.
>>2417557
I agree!
>>2417547
How exactly is .market related to .net anyway?
When I first searched for bitbay it threw me off too...
You might want to do something about that desu
Well, I just bought more BAY so I might as well spam this thread like a motherfucker and keep it on the front page.. biz needs janitors badly
Also I want to add that Syscoin have abandoned their sysmarket and trying to create a new one called 'blockmarket' which is nothing but a concept at the moment! And it has a value that is 3 times higher than bitbay! That doesn't make sense does it!
>>2417612
No I was actually interested I already sold some of my waves then I visited the website it game me some weird language errors and won't give me a btc adress/
>>2417702
It's not related at all. We have discussed changing the name on several occasions, but frankly I think most people who pay attention will notice that a Polish coin exchange is not the same as a cryptocurrency (lol should be more obvious to people but i guess 90% of crypto investors do absolutely no research or something). We're not very worried about the confusion - it will be quelled in due time, when the marketing has been initiated full-scale.
>>2417725
This is exactly why I keep telling Syscoin fans. I hold both but I really fuck with BAY. It is more "true to crypto", in my opinion.
>>2417733
Sir please get it together
So why has bitbay just recently had a huge increase in value?
>>2417793
We're raising brand awareness and have a completely rock-solid platform we're working with. I am not just shilling on /biz/, although it is my modus operandi to hit this board frequently, I have also been active in other social media channels as well and I assure you, larger things are being coordinated than just my foolish self posting on random boards around the internet. As soon as we whore ourselves out like all these overvalued ICOs we can start going places.
Long story short: people literally don't know BitBay exists. Now they do. So the price is going up. Crypto is not an efficient or information rich market, I guarantee you many people reading this thread have NEVER heard of BAY before. Especially not with all these cocksuckers and their useless WAVES shitcoins.
>>2417745
You can't deny that upon first entering the .net one, You can clearly see it's crypto related & bitbay logo looks really similar to the one you are using.
This got me confused, I mean I just thought It's all related to bitbay anyway
Bought 20,000 on good word the marketing team was just a switched up and better marketers were hired.
Lmao when bay becomes the new shill coin, and it's been here for so long already
>>2417845
>WAVES shitcoins
I would restrain myself from calling WAVES a shitcoin
>>2417845
No actually I did send a report ticket as it gave me a ticket number which did work. I'll await a response before getting in on this.
>>2417859
Noted. I will bring this up at the next meeting, perhaps there's SOMETHING we could do.
Part of me wishes the logo was switched to Red, to be more eye-catching and edgy (not very many red crypto logos). Probably just the weed talking and i doubt David would ever do that lol but I am serious, I will bring up your concern. I won't lie and say we don't get it a lot.
>>2417861
Everyone told me I was an idiot for buying into BAY... at 300 satoshis
They just never learn
>>2417907
Ok so it's not related. Actually it appears not very obvious at all.
>>2417861

>>2417926

I'm on the team and I sold half my stack early like in a true weakhand fashion. JUST
>>2418013
At what price did you stack those baes?
>>2418054
300 satoshis. Had like 2 million but i pussied out! Still made my gains and diversified my portfolio but man. Would have been nice. At least I can sleep at night not keeping all my stack in one play though. I wasn't calling WAVES a shitcoin earlier btw, I meant all the coins you can list on their decentralized exchange (Niggercoin, Beanercoin, Kikecoin, Holocaustcoin etc.)
>>2416640
>The worlds first trustless marketplace
You really need to word that better if you want normies to catch on.
>>2418104

>>2417917
>www.bitbay.market
Ok you convinced me with yo shills. I'm in.
You best get that polish exchange to fuck off though.
>>2418125
Thank you, I try my hardest to convey my sincerity about the project and where we're going with it. As a /biz/ native, I feel obligated to post here first. They always tell me to focus on the Bitcointalk and all that but frankly I don't think namefag forums compare to the community of shitlords and memesters we have here.
As for the Polish, they will be dealt with in due time...
Keep shilling OP
I'm getting rock hard
>>2418233
Check'd.
Well, I don't necessarily believe in straight up spamming so I will have to cease at some point for the evening if nobody has any more questions.
legit won't buy a coin if someone associated with it posts on /biz/
wish you luck though.
>>2418391
That hurts my feelings. Do I come across as insincere or shilly in any way? Genuinely serious.
This coin has been around for quite some time, and as a native Channer I feel it is a legitimate marketing channel to post here regardless of what people say.
>>2418423
>native channer
cringed. but that's actually my point. the people here are sociopathic assholes who ruin peoples lives for fun.
>>2418423
Also i've made a literal fuckton of money following /biz/ advice so i probably won't stop marketing here regardless, idk why people are so scared of /biz/ advice. Just do your due diligence outside of /biz/ and use /biz/ as a place to find "potential" picks, imo.
>>2418440
If you find it to be such a distasteful community, why do you come here? Surely you must get some utility from being here?
As for the native channer comment, I wouldn't know what else to call myself. I've been here for over a decade now, it's the best place to get up-to-date information if you know how to read it.
>>2418423
you have a good presentation via text, hopefully this moons I just bought 2k
Yeah I'm pumped about the rolling peg. Especially after a dip like today
Not like bay even needs the rolling peg after seeing it's stability today though
>>2418178
You earned yourself a tiny moon for responding to me so quickly. Sorry we took so long ;)
>>2418606
Thank you, I try to take this as seriously as I can. I truly believe BitBay is one of, if not the most undervalued coin in crypto, and am hoping I have made my case to the Anons of this board.
BitBay top 20 by the end of the year - if anyone would like to screencap this for posterity I would like to place my bet.
>>2418705
So I am putting $100 into Bitbay, We looking at a 4x by summers end?
>>2418705
OP giving his all and putting it all on the line to make me some gains, God bless you BitBay shill, you're the best shill in Crypto
>>2418746
Personally, I believe so. I hope you would not rely on this estimate, as I am merely a marketer/client user, because I clearly am quite biased, but if you download the wallet client and talk to the community in the Slack you may come to a more informed decision than relying on my personal conjecture. In addition, our marketcap seems to be growing at an accelerating rate, so I feel we must be gaining some ground in the market. I doubt growth will slow down, given that I see no real competition at the moment in the same niche as BitBay.
What are some differences between BitBay and Iconomi?
>>2419015
I am under the impression Iconomi is only for the exchange and management of digital assets, whereas BitBay is more of a decentralized marketplace for goods/services whether they be digital or IRL.
>>2419071
Sounds like iconomi and nvo won't be able to compete
>>2419308
I am not familiar with nvo. These projects sound like they are of a different category than BitBay though.
Due to the pegging bay will be AT LEAST the price of Tether ($130m). I expect it to go a lot higher as Bitbays peg is a rolling peg so it can go up in value also due to wallet owners voting to increase the peg price
Think 6 months down the line. Don't get kissed off if it doesn't rise within 3 days. Buy and hold for huge gains
>>2419469
Oh but it already took off...
This program as it stands is impossible to use. I just see numbers everywhere.
Like, I open a market order, and there's just a tab that says "Amount: 0.001, $0, Bitbay". What does any of that mean? This is going to have to be a lot more user friendly if you want it to take off.
>>2420492
We do have in-depth tutorials available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrXUZRGd1hE&list=PLILfNPSQCo6yjFiwXY6-C-ikIDs6v2nHU
and again, for technical assistance it is encouraged to join the Slack. I am not telling you that BitBay is 100% finished and ready for viable commercial usage, I am telling you that it is 100% functional and the beta version does everything we claim it does.
I used it to buy a cool 3D printed pepe and a fridge magnet and I'm no genius, so the program is certainly comprehensible.
>>2418013
Don't feel bad.
You don't actually have profit until you cash out, right?
Once you cash out some to pay for your initial investment and a bit extra, your hands turn to iron and you'll be able to HODL until you head straight to lamboland.
t. anon who sold 70k REDD and will now HODL his 250k until it turns into 100k fiat.
>>2420987
At the time I was also unaware I would morph into my final form as the last shill you see before your Lambo
>>2421127
Im going to bed but i want to give you one last bump
Stay frosty bro
>>2421127
Sorry for the tiny dip. We wanted some more :) Will be back.
>>2421408
Later this week a colleague of mine who owns a fairly nice camera is coming to visit, perhaps I will don my business attire and give a brief presentation for /biz/. I need to cut through the noise on this forum.
>>2421555
When will this kill ebay?
>>2420987
why cash out though? If it becomes like real money you could buy your things with it. Of course maybe not everything but why cash everything out to get fucked over by the gov?
>>2421882
I personally, as well as the rest of the team, am hard at work at ensuring this is the outcome of the hard work being put into the BAY platform. This is disruptive technology and I'd be willing to stake my reputation on it.

That's some pretty nice swag.
If BitBay has to come here to "raise awareness", it's pretty obvious that even the dev team wants to cash out or else they would let their products speak for themselves.
The reason why Syscoin is 7x more expensive is because it's not a scam.
This is why BitBay is not listed on Polo. Polo only lists solid coins and does extensive research on them before listing.
You will all be very excited for the new Syscoin Web Blockmaket. It's a good product.

Aight, thx. Time for action
Polo only list good coins They are crocks!
For example- they bought 95% of Pascalcoin then listed it on their exchange - then pumped it up using the own staff to X6000 then dumped it all on their customers
They do tht all the time. Like when they turned the service off when Dash was been pumped so customers couldn't sell on the crash
It's going the same was as cryptsy and mintpal
Syscoin on beta 4! Haha they will do anything for marketing but was can all see that it only means they haven't finished it so add a number on the end for marketing
"Yeah guys their is taking us ahead to do"
"Don't worry, call it beta 5 and tweet about it, that will get the suckers to buy it"

While the coin is on a gradual rise, this quick recovery after a dip is one of the biggest pump n dumps I have every seen.
Good for you if bought on the 27th of May - dump it now, otherwise stay away from this sinking ship.

Well people on here don't have a lot of money. I'm not here cos I want this to be pumped by college kids with a few bucks! I want to make people aware of the potential the peggin has!
Just look at 'Tethers' marketcap and knowing Bitbays peg will be better that's a X7 in price.
>>2425272
You can't really make assumptions like that, better tech does not always mean higher price in this market.
Especially now you can't really predict anything since the buyers are highly irrational.
Just gotta pick the coins which have the most use and preferably are not a token-as-a-service, but a store of value.

Oh fuck off
At least make your retarded roleplay believable, like a 10% change is a big deal, considering it was at 1600sats not long ago
If you had actually checked the block explorer before roleplaying you would've noticed that there is no person with 15% of coins so fuck off with that too you imbecile
