What type of jobs and career paths might allow this kind of lifestyle? I don't like working more than 5 hours a day.

Didn't want to clutter the OP so others may join in, but here's more info on my specific case:
Currently building out my tool set to become a licensed contract carpenter (probably working 6 days a week at 5 hours per day). Also trying to git gud at programming because I envision that leading to the possibility of similarly scheduled work, or remote work (even better). I'm halfway done with my BS in mathematics and also want to apply my skills in that somehow (crypto trading algos?). I would love to trade full time but would likely need $200,000 in money I can afford to lose for that, so not now lol, but trading lifestyle is the supreme goal.

NEET hiki?

I got a decent paying wageslave job where i have great control over my schedule, I could bust my ass with 60hr weeks, or as few as 20hrs.
my short-term plan is to work as much i am able and put half of every paycheck into crypto, after that, work may not even be in the equation.

Just looked it up, not interested :^)

That's nice, who do you work for?
Personally, I'm more interested in long term options like this (in my case, self employment through carpentry and programming is what I'm aiming for). Of course, I too would like to not have to work at all and would love a trading lifestyle, but in the mean time like not having to sell every second of my life. Good luck anon!

And why half your paycheck into something so volatile? Why not 90% of that half into something like TBills and then the remaining 10% of the half into more volatile options?
