Is drop shipping still a thing? With sites like Amazon, and Ebay is there anyway you could possibly compete? I'm a web developer, and I can make my own site within a week.

I was looking into it but I kind of felt like it was overdone. I'm not totally sure though, maybe I'm entirely wrong. Is it still possible to turn a profit with this business model, or abandon all hope ye' who enter?
