For what I gather from lurking, its recommended to buy ETH and trade for altcoins in bitrexx

Newfag here. From what I've seen, you've got your main, Coinbase, but that's only for easily getting the most traded media on the crypto markets, BTC/ ETH/ LTC

Then there's Bittrex and Poloniex for my guess on head to head in altcoins.

Cryptopia and Yobit are good for picking up memes and other shitcoins not found on the other exchanges (mostly because they're just that)

Others I see float around on here like Novaexchange. WAVES also has some weird shit in and of itself but it's like an exchange you need to buy its coins to trade in. Pretty genius imho
