im looking through some of the mining calculators and it seems that the older cards are alright for mining ethereum, but the power costs are a little high. apparently 280s are great for mining shitcoins like zencash

Realistically, is it worth it at this point to invest in a mining rig? What would be your GOAT tier rigs?

I got some of my rig parts in the mail last week but I couldn't get it to turn on, then I had to work for 3 days straight.
What do? I dont have a power switch but using a metal thing to connect the power pin to ground did nothing.

There is if Ether keeps going up in price. My dream rig would be a couple of AMD's unreleased Vega CPUs Radeon R9 295X2 (57 MH/s) or a NVIDIA Tesla P100 (69MH/s).

Of course this is to hell with the power costs or return ratios.
