You'd pretty much need a quantum computer, and by the time they are available all the coins will be protected against them too.
Yes. But it's not cost efficient. As in the sun is likely to burn out before you will be able to steal someone's coin.
Some people have had successes by guessing the words for brainwallets. This is a much better idea than trying to bruteforce the keyspace.
