Because whales effectively DDoS'd the ETH blockchain, and bought an overwhelming majority share of BAT in under 30 seconds.

They've been selling it for 4-6x gains on the exchanges. It's overvalued currently, the whales want to play and make huge gains off their monopoly.

The idea is fine, but whales fucked it up. They got too greedy and didn't care to evaiuate market reactions.
