Why is NEM going down in price as much as it does. Did it go down just because of the increase in Bitcoin price, or did they do something, or is it the lack thereof? Do you guys think it will increase in price soon?

I think it's a mid to long term hold. seems a bit slept on at the moment
I will be picking some up next pay day, but also interested in your question OP
NEM has been pumped hard by the Japanese in previous months. Their government recently legalized BTC, perhaps Japanese people moved from NEM to BTC as a result.
Nem is defs a long term hold, to explain why it's going down is because the developers are quietly making NEM, they don't do hype so we probably won't hear from them till the release of catapult, also don't forget they are Japanese so all news needs to be translated and some news just never gets translated. Secondly the crypto market is full of adhd children chasing the pumps, so it should be no surprise alot of people are exiting this long term hold that has nothing going for it till catapult release in favour of chasing the 100 percent daily gains coins.
It's a great coin but it's defs a long term hold.
I love this coin. I will buy as kuch as i can. Already made 100% on it. Hoping that will go bit down so i can buy more. It def needs to be number 3.

>tfw bought NEM (0.2btc) after some news in march
>tfw sold for +30% (yippii!) shortly after
