Is industrial sized BTC/ETH mining worth it at this point?

it depends mstly on how much electrcity costs for you.

like if you live in appt or dorm that elec is part of rent(and fixed) then yes.

if not, then its harder. antminer s9 can make you like 3.2 btc per year. If power is free then this is real profit. if its not free, you need to deduct electric costs out of that 3.2. You will probably still possibly turn a small profit and who knows, if lightening strikes you could win a block and get the reward(12.5 now I think?) but its unlikely.

also, antminers can't mine eth, the algo is specifically designed to break this.
