The alt market does well when BTC is NOT mooning (because then everyone dumps into BTC instead), but rather then BTC is increasing in value linearly between moons. When BTC is crashing or volume is contracting, in the short-term GOOD altcoins will appreciate in value, but in the long-run the whole altcoin and especially shitcoin market will contract as BTC's contracts.

ARK is the best alt right now and is up almost 27% since yesterday, but as I said, in the long-run contracting BTC volume will hurt the whole crypto market.

Self fulfilling prophecies. It gained because biz told a lot of people to do that. It's less that biz predicted the gain and more that they caused it.

Doesn't mean it isn't great though.
