I sent a tiny amount to verify the wallet and it hasn't showed up. I sent it a while ago, Etherscan says that the tiny amount is in my wallet. Pls help. My balance in the mist wallet is still 0.00.

you have to wait for mist to sync with the eth network..... it takes a lot of time and space on HDD, better yet, use an SSD!

dont use a desktop wallet.

it takes forever to sync.

What ssd do you recommend? I'm kinda broke and my ETH balance reflects that, but I wanna get off exchanges for obvious reasons.

Or just do a light sync. What OS are you on OP? On Linux I pass --syncmode=light to geth and then launch ethereumwallet.

In theory you should be able to just pass --node-syncmode=light to ethereumwallet and let it launch geth, but that hasn't worked for me.
