I've been a sysadmin for 3 years. Using the sia network for anything other than backups or expendable multimedia is a really shitty idea.
I would use it for my porn collection and tv/movies though. Once the platform grows, it will have an effect on the market growth. I intend to use it as a place to store my movies when video streaming is perfected. Hopefully later this year.

I've got 500k sia. Holding long term. Never said it was a bad platform. I was just saying nobody in mission critical infrastructure would use it. Apparently you don't understand that if your sia client is offline just as your contract expires, your data is unlinked. Sia is not / will never be for mission critical systems.
