The green is the total value of people who want to buy at or below that price. So you can see like the total value of every order that wants to buy at 00001779 or below is about 75. Red is the value of all orders that want to sell at or above that price, so for example there's about 20 btc's worth of buy orders that would accept a price of 00001980.
