This coin is based on providing banking services to the 2 - 2.5 billion people globally who currently don't have access. It's designed to run on simple smart phones costing ~20 USD, which will be distributed as a loan along with the equivalent of ~10 USD in tokens. Users wallets will be linked to them through biometric identification means like face scanning and voice recognition in addition to a password.
It's currently in its infancy, with the ICO finishing on April 27th. Current market cap is only around 20 million U.S, so it seems there is a lot of potential for growth. The idea seems solid as it would solve a lot of problems for people living in countries with corrupt governments, where their currency experiences hyper-inflation.
Judging by the leadership behind the company and the social media presence, it seems like they're serious about this concept and it isn't just a money grab. Long term, it will be used to provide micro-loans to small businesses in developing countries, which has proved a lucrative market in the past. It's still obviously in its very early stages though, and what they're trying to undertake is a huge task so its no sure thing. I feel it could at least reach 100 million U.S in value based on the concept considering many other shit coins have done the same in the past.
Was looking for some opinions on the matter, as I've just bought ~2000 tokens at ~16 cents
