Well guys, Poloniex has been ass fucking their customers with their Siacoin wallets.

Knowing that they had an issue with the wallet, they're still ALLOWING users to use a non-functioning service, instead of temporarily disabling wallets like they normally do.

Sia team and Poloniex are working on it, but according to a statement from Siacoin, it looks like Poloniex are dragging their boots on this issue.

This has been an issue since May 22 it seems.

This will be another Mt. Gox incident, and it is quite obvious everyone should be moving their assets to another exchange. From pending bitcoin withdraws and other problems, it is a no brainer; stop using Poloniex.

Here's what will happen if you try to transfer to another wallet:
On Poloniex's end, it will say the transaction is "COMPLETED" but your coins will never make it over. Right now Poloniex is holding the coins until they can resolve it. There is no time table on when they will "fix" the issue.

I agree. Fucking hold! I'm just saying, use another exchange!!!
>>
>>2280827
hold your SiaCoin in another exchange/wallet not polo, everyone knows they're dodgy as fuck
>>
>>2280831
its fine, just make sure you DO NOT transffer those out of Poloniex.

As long as they sit on Poloniex, you can trade it there. But do NOT transffer them out.

If you don't want them on Poloniex, then sell them, and re-buy it on another exchange!

i've been using polo for a good amount of time. I never had any problems with them and transfers arrive literally within 20 minutes.
>>
fucking polo always has capacity problems at the worst times.

I think it's wise to store hot crypto on multiple exchanges in case of failure but I'm exclusively on polo. Which other exchanges are solid and reliable?
>>
>>2280864
Bittrex I'm hearing never has transffering issues, but their interface is god awful shit.

If you have multiple monitors, it's fine, but prepare for tabs galore if youre on one monitor.

Which exchange can you actually trust though? I use polo because there sign up procedure was easy. But do any of these exchanges actually have a long history of being reliable?
