Realistic long term expectations for Verge?

I like it but does it try to make you try to download the blockchain with the wallet? I hate that for eth and I like jaxx cause it just pulls the info online.

Realistically, seeing how many coins there are I have a hard time imagining it would ever reach a market cap allowing for 1$ coins. I'm hoping it will still rise a little though.
