It's not that holmes... there are no details on said PC specs. It's more than GPU. Solo mine or pool? Linux or Win? Undervolting? What PSU? What is your kw/hr rate? Have you used the online wattage and potential roi calculator? What's profitable for me may not translate same same..ya dig?

do you actually make a profit still, with your gear? around what $ or ETH amount do you end up with per week?

My issue is that everywhere I search, I find a guide to building a rig or calculators(i've run them), but when people in mining communities talk they always say it's not going to end up being worth it unless you were in very early. So why does anyone do it?

calculators either give me figures that might be too good to be true, or hopeless negative returns.

Yes, about 12 a week using 4 rx580s in a z270 pro carbon. Mines about .5 eth a week hashing about 95 mh/s. I pay: .08kw/hr. I already had everything but the cards..so I only had to recoup around 900.00. Is it worth it..no. I can take 900.00 put it into Bittrex and make more than 12 a day. Plus mining is catching on thus difficulty rises. If I were to start new, I would buy a used server with dual Xeons and cpu mine Verium. I have faith in that coin.
