im so sorry op
My friend introduced bitcoin to me when it was around $7. I talk to my brother about it and we agreed to throw a couple grand into it but then talked ourselves out of it.
Then it exploded and i was so dosheartened i left the cryptoscene like an idiot. I missed the eth train completely but i know i would have been balls deep if i knew about it when it was around 8

Good thing you clicked the "Sell bitcoins" button. You almost got screwed out of a lot of money.

Lost nearly $4k on $SDRL

Student loans
Love how they pry on teenagers that have zero idea how finances or the job market works

Yeah totes man. 18 year olds aren't developed enough to understand that basket weaving won't net you $100k per year.
FUK DA SYSTEM MAN! FUK DA 1%! BERNIE 2020!

voxelus is a good long term investment desu. that being said, i'll just buy in when it starts going up no point in having capital just sitting around doing nothing in the mean time
Letting my mom stop me from mining bitcoin in early 2010 when I heard about it on /g/. She freaked out about the electricity bill, tried to convince her it was the future. Stopped browsing 4chan and forgot about bitcoin until 2013.
Coulda had it all.

colleges like to hype up "following your dream" and then charge five to six figures in student loans per year. students should know better but someone has to be out there peddling bad ideas in the first place.
>>2246848
make that four to five figures.

buying bitcoin last week?
>>2246811
Just a friendly reminder that a student loan is the only debt you can never escape, AND it isn't a tangible asset that you can sell for any money whatsoever.

I've always thought of college as America's way of saying:
>hey, we fucked up our k/12 system so we'll loan the full price to anyone who manages to get into higher ed
>full grants? ha, we ain't socialist commies, bootlicker!
>fix our k/12 system in the first place? nah, we gotta kill more sand people

When it comes to crypto, faith seems to be rewarded.
PoSW
EDG
NAV
If not just crypto related and recent/minor, then using Robinhood at all was a big mistake. Or rather, putting so much money into it.

you sound like you did not complete k/12

One day after school me and my best mate went and got out all our moneys together (around $300) and bought some bitcoins.
We had about 21 BTC and we put it in Mt Gox.
It was chilling in there when the prices skyrocketed.
We both had a feeling that it was too good to be true and not too long after the fat piece of shit Mark Karpelès stole all the moneys.
Could have payed for my College :(
>>2246727
Why did you do it?
>>2247332
POSW is only a mistake if you sold cheap, holding will be rewarded.
>>2246720
Lost so much on bitbean :(
>>2247332
Agreed about Robinhood. Took me a month to make 150$ on there then lost it all in a day.
In that same amount of time in crypto I've made at least 5 grand
student loan
>getting into Trumpcoin at ATH
>selling Verge at 19 sats
>buying POSW at 9k

>sold btc @179 literally the lowest its been since the 1600 ath for my motherboard.
>went into business with "friend" for 10k in 2013 when i should have invested it all for btc but it wasnt on my radar.
That's it could be worse.
