> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.
> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

I know all there is to know about the cryiiiiing gaaaaame
Anyways, hope some of you saw me talking about CHK last thread. It was a rollercoaster ride today, but I ended up in the same spot as I did at yesterday's close. I'd suggest waiting until about 10:30 or 11, if it's below 4.90 wait 'til it hits around 4.80 or walk. If it's higher than 5.05, wait for a dip to about 4.97. I'm in at a staggering 5.16, I know this son of a bitch is gonna do some Terri Schiavo-level retardation and then fly back.
If you guys want a solid lead that I'm not currently invested in, I'd recommend watching CATB Thursday and Friday. If it sinks below 1.30, I'd suggest putting in an offer. Decent company that got horribly crippled by a drug rejection (to the tune of 80%). Not for TOTHEMOONdaddies but people patient enough to wait until the next 4 or 5 trading days to redeem a solid 3 or 4% return.
Full disclosure: I do swing trade CATB, but it's been doing +/- .03 cent swings for a bit. If I can make it out of CHK either even early tomorrow or +2-3%, it's going to be my next all-in buy. Just something to keep an eye on.

Lol 150 shares at 6.99 avg here. The divvy was nice but hasn't made up for my red yet.
>>2249242
Nah. Ive already ridden it down this far, I might as well just keep averaging down.
If anyone is looking for an entry point to SSW, I predict there will be a small bounce today and friday, followed by a nightmarish crash down to $4.50 "sometime" in the future.
If SSW does drop down to $4.50, I will open up my wallet and add another 100 shares.
Its a good company that has no support from investors whatsoever. The stock keeps hemmoraging, but at $4.50 it will literally be a steal.
$AMRS is extremely undervalued right now. Their skincare line alone is worth $250-500M. Current market cap is just under $80M. Shorts are keeping this suppressed, so expect a gap up sometime soon. Not a day trade candidate though.
CARA baby! This month is gonna see double data results for maximum catalyst gains. Get in dat medical weed game son.
$LTBR gonna use their nuclear fuel to go to the moon and leave you behind
>>2246985
TSLA's share price is just pure speculation. It's not based of off company performance, so technically, yes, it is a great short candidate. The problem is that US taxpayers help it with subsidies and everyone thinks Musk is the new Nikola. He's not.

HIMX MOONING
When the market was taking a shit a year and a half ago the fed was pumping million and billions into the market everyday and they still couldn't prop it up. Bulls aren't invincible. I don't even think we need a large catalyst to trigger a sell off at this point.
SSW will stabilize soon and then trend sideways for the rest of the day. Now is not a good time to buy in.
Sell HIMX or hold long?
ARGS to the moon
>>2249435
It must be so painful to watch all of your money disappear.

>>2249435

>>2249458

>>2249480
dyna do you daytrade UVXY every day
you arent just holding it long term right...
>>2249450
go in and out of that baby over and over, it's good for both
>>2249480
Okay, okay, you're right. By the way, an ISM survey just found out that U.S. manufacturing strength is remaining high, another survey just found that private sector job growth is rebouncing to 'rip-roaring' pace, and the DOW, the S & P and the Nasdaq are all hitting fresh highs today.
Good luck, man.
ARGS get in on this dip
>>2249485

MNKD mooning nigga
sold 60 shares of cara, half my position
still stand to make a nice profit if it continues up, or i can average down even more if it craters again
>>2249564
OOH, a fellow long term holder? Cool.
After a giant drop, many investors are trying to get out of the stock because they dont like seeing mistakes. If you did your DD on it and it is still a good company, I would recommend averaging down and holding for the long term. If you didnt do DD and you are just buying the dip randomly, I think you should take the bullet and cut your losses. Unless you have the strong hands to hold for like, a year+
Sold HIMX at 7.16 now it's 7.30
Who else /stupid/ here?
>>2249626
nah man appreciate those gains. you made money and could have lost some just as easily. better safe than burning your account up
My HIMX bros that are looking for other similar stocks for swing trading, OCLR is a fantastic one for swings from 8.50+ to 9-9.30ish. I like getting in around between 8.70-8.80 and getting out at 9-9.10.
>>2249645
Yeah, but it's 7.40 now
Just fuck my luck up
>>2249626
youre not stupid if you made a profit
>>2249597

god no, i bought at 2.95 on a whim with no DD when someone posted "merger! get in NOW!"
think about that. 2.95. the literal actual perfect peak.

>>2249666

HIMX is a favorite of institutional traders, they ride it up and down all the time. it's well-known for having an irrational price.
Also, the current quarter-long dip is known to be temporary, so the price WILL be going up in anticipation of Q2/Q3 earnings being plump. it's quite cyclical.

I was a doubter. LTBR next TSLA. Just get out before made in china reactor goes chernobyl.
>>2250142
Am retarded. How do I read this? I think it means there are more people buying than selling so it's gonna keep going up?
>>2250406
There are more orders on the left side than the right side. this means more people want to buy and less want to sell. The magnitude of the difference is huge. I saw this increase happening at below 2 dollars today
>>2250318
Thanks.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a good way of knowing when to sell since the people with high volume determine the big changes in price right?
>>2250453
this

>announced a recent 4 million income stream from patent deals
>3 insiders just bought shares including the CEO and Chairman of the Board

LTBR selling pressure showed up
Just sold all my CARA, seems like as good a time as any. What a nice day.

It's good value if you use the margin which is around 5%. Plus they just take it out of your account when you sell so they won't directly charge your bank account. Does eat into your dividends if you have any though.
>>2249371
Asking for l2 is fucking stupid, orders change constantly, orders show fake size, etc, etc. You need to be looking at this in real time to get anything out of it. Time in sales is more useful on NASDAQs anyways

>>2258196

Is LTBR a good long spin?
>>2258211
dude i know literally nothing about them honestly
>>2258211
fuck yeah this is one of those stocks you look back on and wish you bought it
>>2258142
Been hanging around 90 forever, not gonna buy unless it drops to low 80s again
Picked up DRIP and GSS ..looking good
>>2258217
yo spin can i get the SPEX level two looks like something is about to happen
What are some good websites to track potential scalps?
>>2258227
ok
>>2258240
thanks. lots of resistance it looks like
>>2258240
spin can you explain how to read this properly, i know that it's what orders are being placed and at what volume, but i don't quite understand what "buy at resistance sell at x" means
>>2258225
BRO. dont short my energy stocks.
>>2258240
No!!!!! Stop helping people when they ask for help >:(((!
>>2258247
well like, if you look at that picture
you see theres a huge sell order sitting at 1.25 (big in relation to all the orders around it and the general volume of the stock)
basically SPEX is going to have a hard time today breaking up through that "resistance" level
so if i was holding for a short term scalp I would probably try to sell at 1.24
If i place my sell order at 1.26 i have to wait for that whole giant 1.25 order to get taken out before my shares get sold
>>2258159
Yeah I bought early though at 3.05 and sold at 2.45 on ex div but I still don't have dividend from RH so I'm down hundreds bc of it. If / when I get the div I'll be up a little bit
>>2258270
Oh, ok ok
So if you try to sell at 1.26, by the time it gets there you'll be shit out of luck as the price will drop right?
>>2258251
Ill bee adding more to my gush position all day today.
>>2258279
its not going to get there
theres a fuckhuge wall at 1.25 that needs to be overcome before anyone will be buying your shares at 1.26
if it manages to break that wall and reach 1.26 then its got serious momentum upwards and probably will keep running higher
>>2258227
You don't use a real broker?
>>2258289
its robinhood thread
lets not broker-shame
YO SPIN SOME ACTION ON LTBR PLS
I use fidelity and I don't think they have it

HOW IS IT NOT -10% TODAY
FUCK
>>2258501

>>2258509
plus the paris accords thing...
>>2258501
man i still don't understand. i really don't think TSLA is going anywhere
>>2258468
wtf this stock has like very little support
Should I buy some LTBR while it's down?
Shout out to faggy on the cool 6% in spex
>>2258358
Makes ToS sound less ridiculous.
>>2258501
What stimulus is making you bet on TSLA? Why are you fucking around without strong catalysts?
>>2258543
i just fucking hate them and i think its the most overvalued company existing today
>>2258548
Like Amazon and Google and facebook?
>>2258551
no
those are actually profitable companies
>>2258554
That does not directly translate to their value being as high as it is
>>2258559
thats true but who is going to stop amazon's growth
BABA?
>>2258529
Lol
>>2258564
To be discovered ;)
>>2258543
Lol
>>2258562
they are building a superfactory with the capability of producing 500k cars a year
now look at model 3, priced (at the cheapest) around $35k
now compare other similar cars in this price range, BMW 3 series for example
BMW sold in total around 70k units total in 2016
now somehow TSLA is going to be able to move 500k model 3s?? and its not like BMW has disappeared, not like people still dont want BMWs
>>2258582
Maybe they'll finally fix their atrocious quality control and tacky interiors. Or how the effectiveness of the battery is way too reliant on the outside environment
>>2258582
i just read these gushingly positive TSLA articles and I get sick to my stomach
https://seekingalpha.com/article/4078184-can-tesla-gain-competitive-advantage-adversaries-auto-sector
this guy's summary at the bottom assumes 520k model 3's sold in a year
its just fucking ludicrous already
>>2258582
>>2258595
i know man, like i said, i'm not disagreeing with any of that. but TSLA fanbois are betting on what they believe to be the future of everything, not just one small industry. you can't ever underestimate that kind of thing, you know? so no, on paper, none of that makes any sense, but i don't think Elon Musk gives a fuck, he'll just go deeper into debt to support everyone's science fiction fantasy.
>>2258159
I listened. Thank you anon! I bought early and sold before the ex div date for a nice gain.
>>2258151
It's tempting but I'm sceptical of base value for crypto. Also their platforms are all shitty and verification takes forever. I'd love to throw 1k into an account ftl but man. 100 exchanges, 500 different shitcoins, then you need a wallet and all this shit.
>>2258600
Gotta spend those government subsidies somehow
>>2258548
Yeah but that's not a reason to bet you silly weeb. It's been a bear trap for a long time
>>2258613
Lol
JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY ELON
FUCK YOU
>>2258613
Lol
>>2258640
also spin, i think i was talking to you about HIMX recently?? maybe not, but either way, who got those fucking HIMX gains yesterday? i missed out and regret it so much
>>2258654

>>2258654
I'm the one who first pitched HIMX to everyone here almost exactly a week ago, when it was 6.66
bought there, then impatiently sold after a couple days because it wasn't moving
now look at me
n-now look at me
>>2258660
try again
>>2258595
I like TSLA but I don't buy ath's. Okay, let's look at some pharmas and LTBR by comparison. Very high in the beginning, then the love leaves and hype disappears, normies move on to next shiny thing, and stock crashes and stays dead for a long time. If it is a good company it will eventually rise again, like LTBR might do (pls moon want gainz).
So honestly I expect a tsla crash. I might buy it at the bottom. Elon musk is a guy who makes money. Maybe his shit works, maybe not, but this nigger has a silver tongue and can get investors in.
>>2258664
>>2258660
uh what
>>2258659
7.50 still very good
>>2258664
crazy shit, you should have just held on to a $1k worth or something. there will be more opportunities though, probably even with HIMX. when i was playing with it a couple of months ago, i was riding it all the way into the $9 range. shit was gapping up almost every day for a minute
>>2258664
HIMX looks like it still has room to go up. We're nearly at 8, and it has room to go to 9. I'll probably sell around 8.50 maybe? I only have 15 shares so kid money, but anyway, it's free money so I'll take it.
Also I told you guys to buy ALK. The plane has not left yet. We're entering a steady bull period. I'm up 5.8% from one month. It will regain its Q1 dip and then proceed to steady gainz.
>>2258727
who the fuck flies this airline though
people going to japan from the US I guess?
