Why will WAVES succeed? Isnt it just the same thing as ethereum, except it has its own exchange? Doesnt sound like it offers much. ETH will control that market

It doesn't do the same thing. There's no contracts, it's an asset creation medium. It's set up to be a marketplace, not a law office

Half my stash is in ETH the other half is in Waves. Wondering if i should just say fuck it and turn my ETH stash into Bancor.

I have made decent gains with ETH so far but long term it won't moon for me because i didnt get in early enough.

It does offer the best price to development ratio. The things being implemented are guaranteed money generators since they competing with existing services for cheaper. Waves is a tightly coiled spring.

The only reason Waves isn't higher right now is because polo won't add it. They won't even need polo soon.

Unless Waves is added to Poloniex it cannot catch Stratis. Volume is simply not there on Bittrex.

Also can anyone confirm my idea? It is faster to transfer bitcoin throught the waves client (sidechain) than conventional methods, right? I'm pretty sure I can transfer BTC in a second on the waves client, and it'll take two weeks on the old BTC blockchain...

I'm kinda confused by it. I know that everyone can give their own token any name they want (lol, I also got about 3 bitcoin airdropped so far) and that you have to check their IDs, but even though the MGO I got has a different ID, they still show up when I try so sell the veryfied MGO's at the DEX. WTF is that?

It is faster because you're sending a Bitcoin token, not actual Bitcoin. The Bitcoin token will move just as fast as Waves or any other Waves token because it only exists on the Waves blockchain. You only convert to real Bitcoin when you deposit or withdraw. The real game changer would be if exchanges like Bittrex accepted the Waves Bitcoin token in lieu of actual Bitcoin but I'm not aware of any exchange that does that yet.

Some can be sold on the waves exchange. Sometimes the random tokens you get are actually worth a decent amount. I got some "riptobux" worth $20 the other day.
