What the fuck makes you think it's going to $200? They're offering discounts to get the volume going, if anything it will be traded cheaper and it's only one exchange. Most of china is into ETC not ETH.
Also this is old news that's already been priced in ages ago. If you see any movement up, it will be followed by an immediate dump for cheap profit taking as the chinese market isn't as sold on ETH as the west.

I hate how people here think they are smart for buying a coin because it's gonna be added to some exchange.

If the information was announced X days ago, the pump already happened X days ago.

Im not an ETH fudder, I've held ETH since early 2016, I'm just saying don't get sucked into the hype without considering all angles outside

Consider some other possibilities and weigh them up. for instance

- The news is a couple days old and could be what stalled the nosedive on the 28th. Hence the news is priced in
- Chinese already have access to ETH, just not a way to trade via exchange. Easier way to trade means buying AND selling
- Could be a huge load of mined ETH in the chinese market waiting to be dumped

Long term it's great, but not necessarily short term. Proceed with caution.

Also people here are way too emotionally attached to ETH.

The market is run by whales. This is a mind game folks. They want you to fall in love for a coin so you buy a shitload of it just before it's become worthless.

I think ETH is one of the few, if not only coin that could eventually move independently from BTC. Not right now, but gradually yes.
My longterm is ETH + BTC while expecting greater gains % wise from ETH.

ETH is here to stay, I believe, but apart from that, pretty much everything else is shit. Sticking to BTC and ETH should be good for the long term. The alt-coins might provide a quick profit, but so can a trip to your local casino. However, keep your eyes out for something that will be useful in the market 10+ years from now. Speed, security and distribution is your main factors to focus on.

See this swell of buy orders from 1800 down? This people prepping for zones they believe BTC can fall to. I know this behavior because I started doing it personally. Set up a series of buy orders from the top to the bottom of a range I believe the price could fall into.

90% of the buy orders, some $10 million are between 1900 and 1300 just waiting. That's more than double what was setup a week ago. I'm not the only person feeling it.

Yeah not activating much for me. Im more interested in the slow tickle up it's getting on polo. When wales want to play, they don't buy at the top. They work the price down and slowly accumulate then let it go.
If they want to offload, they work the price up with tiny volume. Get the buy side nice and fat, then offload.
Large buy orders can also be short positions closing.

I mean, you can see whatever you want to see if you look hard enough
