Hey /biz
I wanted to ask, is Coinbase a good wallet for beginners? I'v just recently encouraged myself to join the bitcoin/crypto market.
Should i keep coinbase as my main wallet or switch to some other?
any suggestions?
Thanks

its where i began and it causes me fewer problems than I see other people complain about
i still use it
i don't have a problem with it and i make use of the usd wallet it offers, so it's good for me.

I use coinbase and haven't had issues.
Use a very strong password and MFA and be sure to enable MFA for all outbound transactions. Be mindful of shit you run on your computer.
Coinbase's insurance won't help you if someone hacks you.

Official wallets will always be the most secure way to store your coins. Make of this what you will.

Have fun cashing out. its 99% impossible on coinbase

Yes it's safe nucoiner, welcome to crypto :)
You might want to consider Bitpanda. Lower fees and easier payment options

How so?
its pretty damn safe from external attackers if you have a good password and google authenticator activated on everything
but your wallet is still very much owned by coinbase, so if they pull a mt gox, you are left with nothing
, so EU
also, only US customers are insured against attacksanons should not store anything on there long term

I you're new I don't see the point in day-to-day trading. Buy some on coinbase and move them on your own wallet (I use electrum), then HODL for long term.
I you try trading you will lose, I promise you.
