I use Trezor (hardware wallet) for BTC, Dash and ZEC. Everything else I hold on exchanges, but I will cold storage it all once I get my ass to learning how.

I used to have my /biz/ friends hold them for me, until I figured out how to safely store them myself. Now I hold them for other people, for safety. I'll be glad to hold on to yours.

I bought some bitcoins at an atm at the mall.
I put them on my tablet but don't really know where to keep them or how to buy the good coins that go to the moon.

If it's anything like tge one on my tablet, you get a number of secret words that you write down and it backs up the wallet.
And you can also print out the keys or something.

Not sure how any of it works.

Some on Exodus, the rest on Pos wallet so they accumulate a bit

Encrypted disks stored in a fire safe. Passwords for the wallets are kept in a Keepass2 database separate from wallets.

I also duplicate encrypted containers across various long-term hosting services (Dropbox, ACD, Google Drive) in case of physical theft.

Wallets are only touched when needed. When I need to, I'll pull up a semi-persistent Linux Live CD.

Anything less is at risk of malware/ransomware theft.

You can use online wallets like Cryptonator and HolyTransaction which support quite a lot of coins, but NOT if your sum is too huge
