>tfw monitoring ETH since it first got memed on /biz/
>tfw if I listened to /biz/ when it was at like 80 still would've made like 10 thousand bucks
>tfw STILL think it's a scam

G-guys will it really reach 500?
>>
>>2154001
Yes you mong just buy some eth and forget about it fuck even the tiniest bit of research would be telling you that this is blockchain breaking into mainstream industry.
>>
>>2154001
Anyone who tells you they know is lying.
>>
>>2154001
it's not going away . think about where it will be in 5 years.its painful to buy in at $160 though i'm still on the fence.
>>
So basically one winning tactic is invest and forget about it?
>>
>>2154001
>mfw went in at 10 and forgot about it thinking watching the value of crypto coins was stupid.
there was no reason to put in a lot, but still funny that i made money on that
>>
>>2153873
tfw I see Francis discussed on /biz
>>
>>2154240
Yes. Long term hold isn't anything new. If you had have bought ETH during the original shill back in Jan 2016, you would have made 16000% (not a typo) profit without making a single additional trade. I first learned of it when it was heavily shilled here back when it was $1 well well before this crypto boom.

I tried to buy and mine but pussed out when my Bitcoin trading site wanted photo id. I got in later when it hit $10 but subsequently lost a chunk trying to day trade. If i had held what i bought when it was $10, I'd have double what i hold now. What I have now is a result of margin trading and far more risky and stressful than just fucking holding.
>>
Too late for me to buy sadly
>>
>i thought eth was a scam when i saw it being shilled years ago

never again. balls deep in dgb and xby now and hopefully can right my wrongs

no it isn't.

he says for the 17th time this year
>>
>>2154240
yesterday when BTC and ETH were at approx. all time highs, i sold them and bought into alts. The alts went down so in crypto terms i was losing. Even though that was happening, i was still profiting in fiat. My decision to trade didn't make me lose money, it just slowed down my profit. That's the sort of ecosystem we're in right now
>>
>>2154607
It will be worth $600-$1000 by the end of the year. You still have time.
>>
>>2154948
I'm sure you have everything in it right now including all loans you could get because you cannot lose right?

Will it be fine?
>>
>>2155231
Definitely. Have you read up about what it is and what it offers? It's gonna be more than fine. It's gonna be $$$$
>>
>>2155268

theres really no difference between ether and bitcoin in terms of a currency for buying thing yeah, its just faster and more secure and has the additional smart contract ability that big companies are now seriously interested in i.e i suppose it allows them to make their payments to each other on a global scale without the need of international bank transfers and shit like this
>>
>>2155268
I got in at 82 eur so I guess I'll profit nonetheless since ETH isn't gonna go down that much, I'm just a bit unsure about the steady decrese in the last 24 hours.
>>
>>2155306

a shitload of people probably made enough to pay of their mortgage and are saying fuck it and cash in
>>
>>2155231
>EEA adds crazy new members
>price drops massively
What do you think is happening here? The price drop is on purpose to get the weak to panic sell so as to kill off the competition. Stay with it.
>>
Give me $10 worth pl0xes
>>
>>2155287
The smart contracts are the biggest thing. Bitcoin is only used as a currency. Ethereum could power entire applications and systems.
>>
Should I buy the dip in eth ?
And if yes how much ?

>tfw will be a millionaire if it ever hits $2000

This feeling is what keeps me going. I'm still putting more and more money into it because I'm not just satisfied with what I have. I am also trading shitcoins in the meantime to put more into ethereum.
>>
>>2155973
So... 20k ?
That's all I have.
>>
>>2156012
nigga diversify into btc and dgb
>>
ethereum isn'ta currency. cash out before it's too late and get into zcash. z cash will replace everything
>>
I have 0.98 ETH, how rich will I be in 10 years?
>>
I have most of my money in ETH now, bought in at 42 $. I don't see any chance of ETH retesting that price anytime soon. Buy and hold still applies now that it is over 150 $. Those dips are very temporary, people selling the news, or weak people cashing in.
>>
>>2156002
how many you holding bro? when did you buy in, congrats if legit. what do you think of dgb?

What the other anon said. A bit over 500 ETH I bought months ago. I hold a little Digibyte (only 0.5 btc worth) and it's been going very well. I'm going to long-term hold it but I"m still unsure if it will get to $1. Hope it does though.

I also hold some Bitcoin I had for a long time because I'm fairly certain it's going to hit nearly 5000 just for 1 bitcoin in a year or two.

I honestly think the best coins right now are:

BTC, ETH, DGB. I used to hold Ripple but I don't see it having much of a future just because of the entire concept around it.

My prediction: ETH is going to drift down for a little while after the conference, the good news was already priced in during the jump to 140, and then to the high of 170.

I think it'll drift down to around 130 and stabilize around there, be prepared to buy then since a pump will come later this year
>>
>>2156777
> $130

You wish. Kek
>>
>shorting cryptocurrency

Aren't those transaction fees murderous though? Coinbase is 3%
>>
When is the next predicted spike?
>>
>>2156393

$160 is the dip. It might go down to $100 or something, but then it will go to the MOON because of all the fuckers waiting to buy the dip.
>>
>>2156898
I have a transfert on route to coinbase loaded to the brim with money.
I can only hope it keep on going down till it arrives.

My prediction:
ETH is going to drift down for a little while after the conference, the good news was already priced in during the jump to 140, and then to the high of 170.
then the mass of people who just learned about eth this WE will finally have their exchange account approved and will start buying pumping it to 190.

then soon Metropolis date will be announced, that's when we moon

The best strategy is to hold in this market.

Trade a bit, maybe with 10% of your portfolio...

You should really just invest in things you WANT to hold. Hold and accumulate is the only real strategy.

>>2158003

They're not down, they are just closed for plebs so the whales can profit for it.
