I lost 2.4k$ in alt value.

It doesn't make sense to me. Consensus, better btc, all this news on eth. Why is everything dipping?

The bigger the drop today, the less serious the coin is considered by the money.

Instead of looking at "alts" a.k.a. shitcoins, you need to hedge on coins that seem to rise or fall independently of btc to an extent.
