I had the same problem as well. When I finally got verified on gatehub the only cash I could deposit was through a bank and it wasn't even a direct purchase.

What I did instead was set up a ripple wallet and use a credit card through coinbase. Then I sent my coinbase ETH / LTC through a cryptocurrency transfer service like shapeshift or changelly.
