Ransomware has been around for a while now.

Personally, the cyberattack looks bad on the surface, but on paper it's going to bring the correction BTC desperately need AND scare the normies away for a while.

Worst case scenario, we see governments try to rally against BTC and it becomes completely "illegal", but what's to stop the next ransomer from doing the same thing with ETH? We've already seen a move by corporate and bank entities into crypto, it's not going anywhere.

Overall, I wouldn't worry about it.
