>tfw not spending money is more fun than buying "cool" things
>tfw this upsets Normies as they pay off their 80 month loan for an ebin race kar
How is it fun to not do something? Smart, sure, but fun?
I can sorta relate. It's kinda like a highscore type of thing. Now, I'm not loaded, but I have $70k in savings/investments, and it feels damn good. I'm no miser though, and don't think twice about buying mid-to-high range food/clothes/electronics I want.
25 btw

Sounds like you get paid a lot and can't relate at all.

Unemployed right now. I was making $80k a year for the past couple of years and just didn't spend that much money.

Doesn't matter, the thread was about sacrificing buying cool things, which you admitted to doing.
>roommate works 3 high paying jobs
>See him maybe twice a month
>He sleeps maybe 4 hrs a night
>Jelly of all the cash he must be making
>Tells me he is barely staying afloat
>Loans for his truck
>Loans for his tools
>Loans for his motorcycle
>Rent
>Utilities
>Food
Feels good not being a normie obsessing with material possessions

What do normies spend their money on?

2k of starbucks every year and 5k of barhopping

I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion. I spent the last 2-3 years living like a poor person while saving/investing for no other reason than I like having money. Now I've reached a point where I have a decent amount and it feels nice being able to buy something every once in a while without worrying about cash.
