Debt going up. Fewer and fewer people can buy homes. Chinese and Indian keep coming. People die waiting for health care. I'm an accounting student so my opinion is probably shit.
I think there won't be a recession or housing bubble pop but life will get more difficult, crowded, and competitive in the future.

Yes. Major metropolitan areas like Toronto and Vancouver have overvalued as fuck housing. Chinese money pours in, scoops up all the housing, and all those homes and condos stay vacant the whole year. Chinese are just parking their money.
This drives up prices for actual Canadian citizens. They have to stretch themselves paper thin to afford a place to live that's remotely close to work.
The way to win the Canadian housing lottery is to sell now. Problem is you gotta live somewhere, so you can only cash in your ticket if you a) have a house in Toronto or Vancouver and b) can easily move into a much cheaper house someplace else (preferably outside these cities).
Keep your yes on real estate investment trusts, and L (loblaws) + MRU (metro) stocks. Good chance to scoop those up when they dip.
