So I happen to live in Florida, USA where it seems each exchange platform I try to use is restricted in the state. This seems to be because of state money laundering laws. However does anybody know of any crypto exchange platform that is not banned in Florida? I've already tried the major ones like Bittrex, CEX.io and coinbase.

I see people selling bitcoins in Florida on localbitcoins.com
Are you sure its restricted?

I want to use a trading platform like Bittrex or Kraken that incorporates the trading and exchanging of all types of altcoins. Localbitcoins only allows me to purchase bitcoin.

transfer your bitcoins to an exchange..

I think you misunderstood. Each exchange platform I try is resticted where I live. Buying bitcoin is not the problem. It's exchanging the btc for altcoins.

hmm. can you use a proxy/vpn and edit the info on a coinbase account so it appears you're in another state?
or have a friend/family member perhaps in another state help you..

Ok. Use shitcoin exchanges then. Yobit has eth, ltc, dash and many coins you don't want to buy. They won't ask where you're from.

That truly sucks... I wonder if other states will pass similar laws making bitcoin and other altcoins useless.

I was trying to avoid poloniex. I heard their servers crash and that they have been hacked before. However I may be stuck with it because it's one of the few that seem to allow Florida. How is your experience with it so far?
