>Stratis' logo looks like this
This has huge potential now that YouTube is censoring creators
>>2047916
Srsly though. I need this with good technical analysis. Not just ppl screaming a random coin.
>>2047957
sarcasm?

>Strati's it logo like BYRL
>>2047971
Not really censoring, but if you post any "controversial" content you don't get advertising revenue
>>2047971
Nothing false about what he said. Youtube is literal garbage, the only reason people use it is because everyone uses It.

It could be a nice backup platform for youtubers, kinda like how patreon has shown that a small portion of the viewership is willing to donate money to their favorite content creators
>>2048245
>we don't need companies deciding what can be monetized
Okay and who's going to advertise on the platform? Ad revenue doesn't just come out of thin air, a company needs to pay for the adspace and most companies won't want to put an ad on a video titled "10 reasons why all niggers are gay and jewish too" because it's theoretically possible.
Don't get me wrong, I do think this is a promising project and a central force making decisions like that is always wrong, but don't think this will change the monetization of media too much, most corporations will still be PC and won't want to have anything to do with controversial topics.
Looked into it.
Dumbest shit ever.
>inb4 users post content to monetize
>inb4 megaupload/megavideo with stolen content
>inb4 sue to to the ground
>inb4 guy from video sucking dick behind wendy's
Don't fall for it

Not sure I understand your point. Care to elaborate why you think it isn't a good investment?
>>2049042
User of LBRY can post any content and choose
1.Post it for free
2.Set a price. Example 10 Coins to watch the video.
If You believe that this idea will last "decentralized" when people WILL start posting stolen content like movies, porn, books, etc. then You deserve to lose Your money.
This is utopia for content, I get it, but there are sites like patreon etc for artist and this is not the way out of Youtube. Bet against Google ?

What's the problem with posting stolen content though?
They can't really very well stop such a protocol once it's started
>>2049068
simply copyrighted shit will be taken down and all profits sent back to the viewers
reversable transactions
this is a small problem imo
