Is it a good idea to resort to manual labor in order to save the costs of the automated machines?
Electricity, maintenance and the machines themselves sure cost a fortune, and while manual labor is not as fast/effective as machines it sure is cheaper.

Total cost of ownership is the deciding factor. However, Toyota did a long time what you suggested. Instead of investing in machinery they invested in processes

not talking about restaurants but factories.

yes, thats why emperess Merkel is inviting millions of sandniggers. Automatisation was a mistake. We better hire illitertas for pennies instead of using industry 4.0 tech

sure, machines are expensive but you don't need to pay machines minimum wage and one machine can do the job of many people. in the end machines are cheaper
people aren't cheaper unless you live someplace where you can pay slave wages.
I own a machine that replaces at least 2 people that I bought for 20k. Leased it for 5 years. Monthly payment is less than 600. Can't pay a single employee for 600 a month.

Machines are generally better. they dont slow down in production rate over time unless something breaks and they dont complain as much when you try fuck them
