With bigger sums, you divide them into smaller transactions.
Start off small and gradually increase transaction size as you do it.

Bitcoins reliable, but slow. Its some of these newer alt coins with all these buggy ass wallets that I dont trust yet. I really fucking wish I could just keep all my coins on the exchange, but people swear by the urgency of cold wallet storage
