mining stops at when block 100,000 is reached, then only staking happens.

13 million coins was an estimated number, revised down from 30 million.

a mined block receives 300 coins, a staked block reward changes, mine have averaged around 15-20 coins per block reward. so each block that is staked and not mined means that there are less coins overall.

if the last 10,000 blocks were all mined, it would be another 3million coins. if those blocks all had staking rewards instead of mining rewards it would be around another 250k coins, so the reality will be somewhere in between.
as it has averaged about 1.1million coins per 10,000 blocks, it's a safe assumption that this final 10,000 won't be too different.

i think (though i don't know for certain) the staking rewards are still created by the network, but they have a much smaller amount overall, as the rewards would total 69% of the number of coins in wallets which are open and staking over a year.
so there is inflation and the number of coins will grow, but not by a huge amount.

Just briefly re-watched the stream.

I thought it will be more official, guess Milo just did a party, then after ~55 min of blank stream he gave a speech. Now I know that I expected something different (more official) and I understand why there was nothing going on with the coin, it's just not the time.

The speech tho needs to be breakdown very carefully imo.

The most important things:
-Milo is suing Simon and Shuster (company that cancelled his book) for 10 MIL $
-Berkeley is planned to be a week long event IF Berkeley officials will help him secure the event, IF not it will be a month long
-Starting "Dangerous Books" company ?
-New Tour of speeches

Literally every point is a new opening for the MiloCoin, but there has to be some action.
If we don't organize things before the Berkeley in September, we won't achieve anything great.

if you wanted to sell 200,000 coins at the once time, the best strategy is to make smaller sell orders which don't trigger peoples alarms. people notice huge 2btc orders. but if you sold 40 batches of 5000 coins from 950 to 990, normal trading would still happen alongside your sells.
