What skills would I need for finance internship? Positions like financial advisor, financial analyst and so on. Should I tell them about my cryptocurrency investments? Read up on way street journal and Bloomberg?
Bump, I have excel on my resume. Unfortunately no prior internships or work experience related, just a sales job, doctor aide, and Amazon mail service. Anyone get a finance internship and can tell me what they do or did at work?
Bump again, trying to get in sales and trading.
Did you go to college?

Yeah I graduate may 2018. Also wondering if you can get an internship the summer after graduation which could lead to a job.

Go to your school's career center. They should have counselors and good advice, and maybe even connections with alumni.

Bro, I'm in the same boat.
I graduate Spring 2018 with a major in Finance. I just got an internship, but it's as a business analyst rather than financial.
But, I looked it up, and a business analyst makes the same amount of money as a financial analyst. However, I'm deeply interested in investing, and the internship doesn't deal with that.
I'm not sure. Other than an internship, what else makes you stand out as a finance major?

I'm investment minded. Not many students are looking at crypto markets. I have IT knowledge of data analytics and SAP, SQL, R Studio because I was an MIS major before, not sure if that helps. Best thing to do is get 1 internship after the other for experience but this is my first. Clear outlook on career and health?

Internships and the skills you learn from it get you the job if I'm not mistaken.
